History
Aspire4Kids began in 2007 through the initiative of Orit Shtevi, mother of a young boy diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome. Frustrated that she could not access therapeutic services geared towards the specific needs of her young son, Orit decided that she herself would gather the resources to build a fun and dynamic weekend program specifically for young children with Aspergers Syndrome. There is very little that can get in the way of the dreams a parent has for their child.
“I met so many parents in my situation, I got the support I needed and my son got his small group with special needs educators who had the patience for him and gave him the right attention.”
Now, just over a year later, Aspire4Kids is still growing. The foundation is under new management. The team is now comprised of several devoted therapists and special care counsellors who employ a number of creative group therapies to help children reach their full potential.
